WHAT IS STEAMing?
STEAMing is Valve's new way of getting games into your hands ASAP so that you can spend endless hours attempting to play. Games like Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Counter-Strike Condition Zero are all being ruined through Steam.
STEAMing games are automatically kept up-to-date with the latest content and revisions on a daily basis so that you are unable to connect to the latest game servers. STEAMing also includes an instant-message client which even works while you're in-game, freezing and locking up your game instantly.
At its core, STEAMing is a distributed file system and shared set of technology components that can crash any software application.
With STEAMing, developers are given integrated tools for direct-content publishing, flexible billing, ensured-version control, anti-cheating, anti-piracy, and more so that they may completely destroy the online gaming experience while making a fast buck.
